At CV Source, we are committed to providing a high-quality CV writing service to job seekers in Ireland. As our service is customized and delivered digitally, we adhere to the relevant Irish consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
- Eligibility for Refunds
As our CV writing service is a digital and bespoke service, we generally do not offer refunds once work has commenced. However, refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
- Service Not Delivered: If we fail to provide the CV writing service within the agreed-upon timeframe, and no alternative arrangement is made.
- Significant Quality Issues: If the delivered CV does not meet reasonable professional standards and we are unable to correct the issues after revision requests.
- Duplicate Payment: If you accidentally make a duplicate payment, we will refund the extra charge.
- Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of our service, cancellations are only permitted within one hour of placing an order. After this period, work may have already commenced, and a refund may not be possible.

- Revisions & Adjustments
We are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with the initial draft of your CV, we offer up to two free revisions within 7 days of delivery. Any additional revision requests beyond this period may be subject to an additional fee.
- Exceptions to Refunds
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- If the service has been completed and delivered as agreed.
- If the dissatisfaction is based on subjective preferences rather than a failure to meet professional standards.
- If a customer changes their mind after work has commenced.
- If the customer provides incorrect or incomplete information that affects the quality of the CV.
- How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or raise a concern about our service, please email us at recruiter@cvsource.ie with the following details:
- Your full name and order reference.
- A clear explanation of the issue.
- Any supporting documents or screenshots if applicable.
Refund requests will be reviewed within 5 business days, and we will respond with our decision.
- Consumer Rights Under Irish Law
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Irish consumer law, including your right to remedies if a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill.
